This is Monika from the game Doki-Doki Literature Club which was one of my favorite games from last year. The work Dan and Team Salvato did on the game was amazing and it's one of the most impactful games I've played in a long time.
This character was a huge challenge but also incredibly rewarding. I tried a lot of new stuff on it that I'd never tried before such as using blend shapes from ZBrush, using a hand painted texture style, and all of the modeling for her hair was completely different than anything else I had done before. She is rendered in Unreal 4 and was rigged using Epic's Animation and Rigging Toolset.
